The trip was everything you would expect from a tropical paradise. A few days on O'ahu and a week on Kaua'i gave us a much needed break from the rat-race of school, work and other responsibilities. Other times, despite these things, the food is outstanding. Either way, to get a taste of the real local flavor, dispell your preconceived notions and ask a local where THEY think is a good place to go. This rarely turns against you.
